Recycling archives: a major axis for reducing the environmental impact
Archives Conseil advises recycling at all levels: destruction of documents, recycling of computer equipment or even paper, cardboard and plastic packaging… We recycle everything! For us, your documents are not waste, but raw materials. We even go so far as to extract the silver present in medical X-rays to reuse it. With regard to your data carriers, we ensure that no future use of the stored data is possible. We proceed in 4 steps: demagnetization, perforation, crushing and recycling. At the end of these processes, a certificate of treatment or recycling is given to you.
Life in green: ecology in all its forms!
Archives Conseil sees life in green. Whether in terms of the services we offer, the values we promote or the environmental and societal commitments we make, we fight daily to adopt an eco-responsible lifestyle and encourage our customers to do the same. In particular, we have placed solar panels on one of our buildings with an area of no less than 1000 m². These panels supply our servers, our electric heaters, our PCs, the lighting in warehouses and offices, the water heater… We are therefore autonomous at this level!
As for office equipment (filing cabinets, etc.), we collect them to offer school equipment to two centers that take care of children placed by the justice system. We also donate computer equipment that does not contain data (printer, mouse, keyboard, etc.) to an association that promotes the professional reintegration of people in difficulty. This association provides computer training aimed at reconditioning the equipment, which will be resold at low prices to other associations.
